Art direction and audiovisual production for "Jack y las Habichuelas Mágicas" live streaming show for San Pedro Garza García City

The opportunity
As the pandemic started, the city of San Pedro Garza García and its Culture & Education Department identified the need of going digital to allow their citizens to continue having high quality events, entertainment, and education programs. The challenge was that the department didn't have the technical and human infrastructure to operate a digital audiovisual program, so we collaborated with them to make this real.

The project
For 18 months we've had the honor to produce and live stream the most important cultural events of the city, from designing the stage plot, to collaboratively coordinate the events' programs, produced the events advertisement on video and photography, fully produce the graphics, operate the cameras, switch them, and guaranteed a fully professional production for +700k people digitally.

My role
For this particular project ("Jack y las Habichuelas Mágicas"), I was in charge of three main areas:
   1. Digital marketing Art Direction, photography, and graphic design: I created the concept for the official marketing of the show, to be distributed through social media and e-mail to San Pedro Garza García's community (120k+ people). I shot the photographs to further edit them and create a photomontage, giving life to the show's identity.
   2. Show's Audiovisual Creative Direction and camera operation: when it was showtime, I was in charge of directing my cameras and audio team to fully capture the show and then be edited to obtain the livestream version to be transmitted for a whole month each Sunday.
   3. Project management: From end-to-end, I was in charge of managing the whole audiovisual production, establishing the scope, plan, budget, execution
This was possible by working together very closely with the client, the show's talent, and my direct team of photographers, filmmakers, designers, and marketing creatives. As well, one of the most important TV channels in N.L. state ("Canal 28"), wanted to broadcast the show to millions of citizens of other municipalities, so I coordinated the communication and file transfer with them in order to let them stream the content in the proper format.
