Product R&D, design, manufacture, packaging, and go-to-market strategy for
Industry: Art, Education, Travel

The opportunity is looking to end-to-end develop products that offer a "go with the flow" lifestyle. As part of the catalogue and going with an organic/natural concept, notebooks are one of the star products the brand is looking for, with an original design able to be replicated throughout production and following the brand's 4 ecosystems/natural lines: savannah, ocean, mountains, and forest.

The project
For this first phase of the scalable and long-term project, we created the first collection of "naked" notebooks. We started by sketching some of the potential designs and materials that matched the brand vibes, as well as aligned to the user functionalities we wanted them to experience after some research, being one of them the fact that they wanted a notebook they can "open without problem, without rings and with a special texture experience". After that, we vector-designed the 4 main icons that represented the 4 ecosystems mentioned before, giving them a specific name and story. A specific suppliers research was done to identify the best prices, processes, and alliances we could make in order to build up a strong supply chain and start manufacturing. After the materials were bought, some components were manufactured by a specific supplier (such as the notebook binding) and the rest by Create Your Own Studio. In parallel, we created all the go-to-market strategy and when the first badge was finished, we produced the marketing content, launched a campaign, and started selling online throughout the whole Mexican territory.
