Concept, design, and manufacture for ITESM's PrepaTec
Industry: Fashion, Consumer products

The opportunity
PrepaTec was looking to develop its identity for its Senior Year Class of 2016. This branding would be implemented on different products for the students to wear proudly on their last months at high school and after their graduation.

The project
For this project, we developed the Class of 2016 graphic identity and product design, implementing as important elements of the concept: the architecture of the campus and the most relevant day-to-day slangs. After several sketches and validations, two main logos were delivered: "Class of 2016" (used at the t-shirts, screensavers, and other merch at the graduation party) and "CSC 97 Class of 2016" (used at the hoodies). The manufacture was managed through a third party agency.

My role
Creative director and designer, together with a team of 3D artists, graphic designers and students.

Key contributions
/ Project management and lead, defining with the team its scope, objectives, budget, planning, resources, time, execution, launching, and landing.
/ Conceptualized visual direction.
/ Created sketches for concept validation before entering to design stage.
/ Designed several proposals for both logos.
/ Designed the final logos in their different versions (color and monochromatic) and deliverables (PNG's, AI's, screensavers, and over print layouts).
/ Created the mockups for each presentation.

Outcome
The designs and merch were strongly accepted by the Class of 2016 and PrepaTec, using the product proudly during their last and most important days of high school.
