A full product audit and strategic redesign proposal for Común — diagnosing UX and business gaps, then prioritizing and redefining the barcode payments and remittances flows through a clear set of product principles.

Común is a fintech serving the Latino community in the US. I partnered with the team to audit the full product end-to-end, mapping gaps in consistency, hierarchy, and usability across the existing experience.

Building on the audit, I defined a product strategy grounded in clear principles — prioritizing barcode payments and remittances as the highest-impact flows to fix first. I used a prototype of the redesigned flows to validate the direction and align the team, alongside a broader roadmap to guide the next iterations.
